Hi, I'm Bill (Will), and I'd like to welcome you to my new adventure. My fascination with bees began in my late teens while watching a nature program with my dad. It was a moment that stopped me in my tracks, and I became utterly captivated by these remarkable creatures and their intricate lives. Over the years, my curiosity about bees grew, and I'd catch them in jars to study them, wondering about their lives, their queens, and their role in our world.
As time passed, my passion for bees never waned, and I dreamed of living a country lifestyle to support these vital creatures. Finally, after 34 years, that dream came true, thanks in part to my daughter, who found a house in the countryside. I was living the dream, with space for my grandkids to play, room for organic gardening, a few rescued Dogs & hens and even my own beehive. My grandchildren, now aged 4 and 8, share my fascination with bees, and they affectionately call them "GaGa's bees."
Teaching the younger generation about the importance of honey bees and the benefits they bring to our planet has become a mission close to my heart. Bills Bees has steadily grown, with two apiaries in County Louth, surrounded by wildflower meadows and fruit trees that produce the most incredible honey you can imagine.
Working with bees has not only been a pastime but also a therapeutic escape. Having spent many years in mental health, I find solace and peace when I'm with the bees. They help me switch off, and watching these incredible creatures work is a joy like no other.
My journey led me to explore the potential of beeswax and honey by products. Through extensive research and testing, I've developed a range of products using natural beeswax and other natural ingredients, which have been proven to offer excellent health benefits. These products have received strong approval from me, my friends, and my family.
